What I Got At My Latest Horse Show

I had a show on April 10, 2016.  So I decide I will tell you how I placed.  Plus this blog post will be short by the way.  Plus it was my first show not counting the horse camp show.

My first class is walk and for example, the judge may ask you to get in vertical far at the walk.  For my first class, I got a 4th place.  I was really proud.  Don't think that a 4th place isn't a good placing it is a really good placing.  Plus the placing goes all the way to 8th place.

My second class is walk/trot when the judge will ask you to trot or walk. I got 2nd place.  I was really happy with what I got.

For my last class that was a pattern where you do a course with no jumps. I got another 2nd place.

For my over all score I got reserved champion I was really proud I got reserved champion.

Expectation vs. Reality In The Equestrian World

I have seen a lot of Youtube videos about expectation vs. reality when dealing with horses,  but my mom will not allow me to do videos.  Here are my blog expectations vs. reality.  I hope you enjoy reading them.

#1. Expectation: Trot on the correct diagonal.
Reality: Most of the time not on the correct diagonal.  My instructor is always quizzing me on my diagonal. I am on the correct one most of the time.

#2. Expectation: Being able to catch your horse in less than ten minutes.
Reality: Chasing and bribing your horse and if thy want to be mean they will go all the way to the back of the pasture.  Moses does this just to be a pain in the butt.

#3. Expectation: Putting on your saddle in less than one minute.
Reality: Puting on the saddle in a minute and a half.  Moses is always moving around and putting his nose in my grooming bag. This is the exact bag I have.
#4. Expectation: Being able to tell your horse apart from another horse that looks just like your horse quickly.
Reality: Trying to figure out who is who. It happens to me sometimes, but then I remember my horse is lazy and has a right mark on his forehead.  If I have a treat in my hand he finds me!

#5. Expectation: Being able to get your horse to move even when your horse is tired.
Reality: You are tired too and just want to untack and get a snack.

#6. Expectation: Being able to go to a tack store and pick up exactly what you need.
Reality: You go into a tack store and end up buying lots of things that was not on your list to buy.  I went to the tack store last weekend just to buy a crop. I came out with a crop, belt, and a pair of breeches.  My dad bought a belt too.

Partrade Junior Glitter Curry Comb

Hello everybody. Today I am doing a review on one of my most helpful horse items.  It is the Partrade Junior Glitter Curry Comb.  When you buy from my shared link, I will make some money.  Thank you!

I own this comb and love it!  If you ride, you know that right now horses and ponies are shedding like crazy.  Moses is shedding like CRA~~~~ZY!  Let me tell you, this curry comb is really helpful, because I don't have to stay in one section of Moses' body to get the loose hair out.  You can even get hair out of  the curry comb fast and easy. I save like 3 minutes.  With that extra 3 minutes I don't have to rush. The partrade junior glitter curry comb also get's deep down getting all the loose hair out.  The best part is it is not expensive. It is only $2.49, and it works really well, I'm telling you!

I hope you liked this blog post and buy the Partrade Junior Glitter Curry Comb .
